Seriously, global warming is a huge hoax. That Al Gore guy is full of shit. Just look at the evidence for yourself. There’s a ton of snow all over the northern hemisphere, ending at the equator which is now sponsored by JVC.

I wonder how much power is consumed by all of the signage on this building. The advertisers could learn a thing or two from the folks at Ricoh. Their billboard, just a block away, is powered by solar and wind energy. The EMI coming off of some of these signs also seem to cause the monitors in the offices along the perimiter of the building to get distorted. It sucks.
On a side note, Ricoh’s office equipment sucks too. One of their copiers shot flames at me once.
One of the most important bands of my childhood, 311, is releasing a new album soon! There isn’t a solid release date for Uplifter yet, but it has to be coming in the very near future – hopefully before the Spring tour starts. I can’t wait!
It’s good to see that they’re getting some quality rehearsal time in:
I really hope that they take the time to get everything right this time around. Something has been missing from their last few albums. Maybe it’s just that I’ve always compared everything they put out to Transistor, which can never be replicated, so I’ll be sure to keep an open mind and open ears the first time I listen to Uplifter.
I went to go see God of Carnage with a couple of friends last night. The show was absolutely fantastic! James Gandolfini had the crowd falling apart with his character’s mob references in how he made his kid’s hamster “disappear” and his childhood gang talks with Jeff Daniels. Hope Davis’ character’s vomiting all over the set was a bit much, but certainly broke up the long dialog it followed. Marcia Gay Harden really looked like she was giving James’ character a serious beating at one point, and she flung herself at him like she was going for blood!
The tickets were a bit pricey, and I think that I ended up getting a little more than I paid for…
